Tattoo Tidings

Since I can't seem to focus and actually get any work done, I've decided to write a new post. I have wanted a tattoo for a long time now, but have not up until this point been able to decide on a design. A tattoo is not like buying a car, or some fad that can be given up; a tattoo is a life-time commitment, and is almost as scary as the thought of marriage, which is not even a truly permanent commitment nowadays. The biggest problem I find with tattoos is that I want it in a place where I can show it off if I want to, but can easily be covered up by everyday clothing, and in a place that won't stretch too much if/when I get pregnant. After thinking long and hard about the best placement I have decided to go with the ribcage. I have been told by many people that this is the most painful place to get a tattoo, but I feel like pain is only temporary, and I'd rather get it in the right place to begin with. Recently, I have been thinking more and more about what I could commit to my body and have decided on something revolving around a universal theme. I really love space, but I really love the idea of the unknown even more, so I'm going to try to tie the two together with some kind of image of a galaxy and the saying "Embrace the unknown." Now all I have to do is get my parents to sign off (since they are the ones paying my college tuition) and find the perfect place to get it. I did some research recently and found that the tattoo shop just down the hill from school is actually one of the most highly recommended near Denver, and is praised for its cleanliness and talented artists, which are extremely important to me. I suppose my next step is actually going to the shop, talking with the artist, and seeing if I can get the perfect design. Hopefully this will happen soon! That's all for now...
